After my last post about these Pour La Victoire Irina Platform Pumps I received quite a few questions about them so I thought I’d do a follow-up post.
I’ve worn the red suede ones a few times and noticed that the shoes did stretch out quite a bit after extended wear. The 7.5 now fit rather loosely and I’ve added shoe inserts to make them fit better.
My normal shoe size is 6.5/7 and my feet are of average-wide width. In these shoes I’d fit more comfortably in a 7 or 7.5. I think the 7.5’s are a better fit because my feet tend to swell up at the end of the day.
If your feet are narrow or on the narrower side of average your normal size will probably suffice. As always, if you reside in the U.S., I’d recommend ordering from Endless or Zappos because they offer both free shipping and free returns.
I couldn’t resist getting another pair last month in a color that I’ve been coveting: Patent Soft Aqua. Shopbop has these in an assortment of spring/summer colors.
If it weren’t for my shopping ban I’d be tempted to order another color to add to my collection but that’s probably a good thing as I don’t need more shoes.
