There is no shortage of companies that thrive on marketing convertible dresses (tops, skirts, etc.) And I recently find myself completely enamored with Two Birds and Butter by Nadia, two companies that sell products that are rather similar in concept.Tiffany has a dress from Butter by Nadia that is absolutely adorable on her.
I have a Two Birds dress coming in the near future but am really excited to share a Butter by Nadia sale. This sale is called Five Five Fifty. In short, five designs go on sale for $50 over a five-day period.
(I am aware that I am shopping quite a bit, forgive me, I don’t mean to be an enabler. During these transitional periods between seasons I find myself standing in front of my closet in the morning and thinking: I have nothing to wear. I know I am crazy but that feeling has compelled me to shop a little more recklessly than usual. I am sure I’ll find my balance soon.)

I ended up ordering the “Vanity Bustier” in the color “Dove.” I have no immunity against peplums and I plan on wearing the heck out of this top this summer.
Some ways this top can be worn. The underlying principle behind convertible items is that they are “investment” pieces. Not in the sense that you’ll be able to resell them later for profit but that the cost per wear for these Butter by Nadia items will be lower than those of items from F21, Wet Seal, etc.
Sale is final. Shipping isn’t cheap. However, the Five Five Fifty items all retailed for $200+ so I think this is a great time to try a new brand.
I was able to use the code FLASHDANCE which I found on tPF, courtesy of user *NYC Princess* for 25% off (25 % off the total, including shipping). This code may expire soon so don’t wait too long!
