My work outfits have been in a funk lately with my being more mindful of my purchases and the winter becoming increasingly more brutal by the day. I woke up this morning to -7°F weather (for those of you on the metric system, that is -22°C) and it is COLD. So you can imagine how difficult it was for me to suppress the urge to call in sick to work and just stay home hovered over the heater.
In any case, for the next month or so I have decided to challenge myself to post daily outfits on this blog so I don’t show up to work looking more disheveled than I need to be as the winter wears on. That is the accountability portion of the title. As for the sustainability part, I will pick out one item from my closet to be passed on (if you are interested, you just have to be the first to leave a comment saying you want it and be responsible for the postage which shouldn’t be more than a few dollars) to a reader everyday. If no one is interested then I’ll donate the item at the end of the month to Goodwill.
Cami: Abercrombie & Fitch
Lace Top: The Limited (now on sale for $6.99!)
Cardigan : Talbots (similar here)
Skirt : Ann Taylor (similar here)
The item being passed on today is: Banana Republic Dress in size S
Happy Monday everyone!
