I am a big fan of retail catalogs – especially when it comes to J. Crew and Anthropologie – the clothes never look that good in person but the images are nevertheless ingrained in my subconscious so I pick them up anyway.
But as I am on a browsing ban (radio silence on the shopping front has to be good for my wallet), I decided to just indulge my obsession with this early spring color palette utilizing pieces that I have in my closet.

OK, so my outfit isn’t nearly as adorable as the one on the model, but I will gladly put the $120 I would’ve spent on this outfit toward paying off my credit card bill for this month (I was thisclose to clicking the checkout button on J. Crew). Money saved, Ca-Ching!
