I am so excited to share a cheap skirt with everyone today…because I saved a ton of money downgrading to the H&M version when I was on the cusp of ordering the J. Crew version (an even more similar version was seen on PAG). I also saw this skirt in black but I am guessing it was also available in other colors as well.
I love this skirt but above all I love that it’s only $14.95. I was happy to have found the last size two in this color…the WIFW attempt is sort of blah because I can’t seem to stray from pairing mauve with basic colors. The skirt is really cute though and if you are missing a lace skirt go visit an H&M with a Divided section.
The skirt in size 2 measures just under 12 inches across the waist with no stretch so it runs pretty true to size for H&M skirts. It’s frankly sort of mediocre quality (not terrible for the price) but I didn’t really expect incredible quality from H&M anyway.
The accompanying pieces are some of my favorites (the Theory Darlin Turn blazer in look 2, the LOFT ruffle front cardigan in look 3, the J. Crew Glitter sash in look 4 (which Cee also has and rocks), and the Theory Gabe B blazer in look 5).
