It poured all day yesterday in San Francisco so my family and I stayed in to avoid the rain and only ventured outside for food. Unfortunately, the resulting photographs were too disappointing to post. Here are a few food pictures that I did manage to get…I think my family had dim sum four times in the three days that we’ve been here so I don’t really recall where these pictures are from.
I am not a fan of egg custard tarts (I am ashamed to say) but I did recommend these ones from the famed Golden Gate Bakery to my parents after reading raving reviews on Yelp. My mom fell in love with them…but then again she is easy to please.
I am staying an extra evening in San Francisco because my flight was canceled in anticipation of the heavy snow fall expected in the NE. I think the cancellation is a little premature since many of these severe snowstorm forecasts usually hit north of LGA or JFK but I am sure it’s always best to err on the side of caution.
I was able to walk around San Francisco earlier today and soak in the after Christmas sale atmosphere. I really wanted to see the BR Alicia Bow Tee (seen on Chloe here) that I ordered in person but it’s apparently not available in stores until next week.
The Free People Remembrance Coat that I first learned about through Ping has gone on sale (kicking myself now) but I wanted to put these pictures up and say a few words about the fit and how much I adore it.
I am wearing size 6 in the pictures and it fits me ok. I think I would’ve preferred a size 2 or 4 but I wouldn’t have been able to layer as much. The sleeve lengths are decent and the length is very petite friendly!
I also took advantage of the ASOS After Christmas sale (ends today at midnight GMT), use ASOSGIFT for 10% off sale items. I picked up this 2 in 1 Pussybow Jersey Dress in Petite size 6. I first saw this dress in a different color combination on Jean, I am optimistic about this purchase because it looked better on her than on the model.
I also picked up a few more items from ASOS but couldn’t find them on SS anymore.
