Okay, I am beyond excited right now. At the end of last year Wendy’s teased chicken nugget lovers everywhere with a brief test run of spicy chicken nuggets at select US locations and right as I got into the routine of ordering them by the dozens at lunch time, Wendy’s pulled the plug on them without a word. My next encounter with them was at MCO when I was waiting for my rental car, sadly I could not stay in Florida for forever so I bid farewell to those tasty little chicken bites.
Fast forward to today, when I was using the drive through at my local Wendy’s, I had a moment to look at their colorful ads that I rarely had a moment to pause and read. That’s when I saw: SPICY CHICKEN NUGGETS. I almost couldn’t believe my eyes, how long has that sign been there and why was I always in too much of a rush to read everything properly. In any case, if you like chicken nuggets, you MUST go to Wendy’s and get some of these only slightly heated spicy chicken nuggets. They go well with ketchup, ranch, sweet and sour, pretty much any sauce you can name. I prefer them dry but to each their own.
I know some of you might think this is not a big deal, but I love chicken nuggets and it’s one of those childish things that I’ve learned to accept about myself. Now go get yourself some and get an OREO frosty too while you are at it.
